In the heat of summer the course is dry, like most but I enjoyed myself. Unless you are a consistent great shot the course offers many hilly lies which helps with the shorter length. Not many forced carries, several blind tee shoes, lots of uphill and downhill holes. I would call the layout more of a links hybrid with extra elevation and extra trees. Everyone was friendly enough. Course was empty so I got through in around 2:20.

Course is on the short side - under 6,000 yds from the blues and no par 4 over 400 yds - but it's quite hilly. Some blind shots. Decent set of par 5s.
Turf is only in good condition in the spots where people haven't played from. An awful lot of divots, many not replaced.

Can't comment on greens as they had been recently aerated when we played (mid-September). It has to be done.
