THE DUNES course was designed by Pete Dye and Perry Dye, and echos Scottish-style links golf, although the South Platte River is in play. Otherwise, many pot bunkers, mounds and Dye's usual railroad ties are featured on this course, which is one of the more popular courses in Colorado.
THE KNOLLS course is a traditional parkland-style layout that opened in 1962 (Henry Hughes) and features canals, trees, various hazards, and many elevated greens.

i love the course and everything it has to offer except for the pace of play. it can get real ugly especially on weekends.

Great course for most amateurs. Welcoming to women players. An exceptional public course. Probably the best in the Denver metro area.

Agree with T. Morris review - The Dunes course is one of best public courses in Denver area. Well maintained and true Links layout makes it critical to keep the ball in play (if you you're in the native grasses, forget it!). Moderate greens fees mean exceptional value and service and staff are terrific to boot. Highly recommend this course.

One of the best if not the best kept and valued 36 hole track in the Denver area. Great service, great 19th hole and two awesome tracks. The Dunes is a links style course groomed without a hair out of place. The Knolls a much shorter course has lots of rolling hills, blind shots, varied elevated and level greens that have plenty of undulation. Great tracks, lots of fun.

This course is annually rated one of, if not the best, public courses for its fee. The greens are great, pretty quick but very true.
