This is my home track, it's the best public course in the area. The greens are fast and true. Great membership options to fit about any budget.

Played the north and west courses. Avalon has 3 nines, and you are allowed to pay for two and play all three. Some of the holes are short dog legs so having a gps device or someone who has played the course before is helpful. The course is above average public course in terms of maintenance. Greens are very hard and fast, but pretty true. pace was slow and they were not marshaling the course today. Okay if you are in the area, but not worth such a long drive from Seattle. Or if you want to drive aways, play Gold Mountain.

worth playing if you are in the area, don't make a special trip for it though.

Greens were ridiculous. Hit a 56 degree wedge to 15 feet and it rolled 40 feet past the hole. Beautiful course but crazy difficult for this time of year.
