Golf Digest magazine once called this the best course in Alaska, which is somewhat interesting given that it is located on a military installation (Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson). But it is not surprising, since the architect was Robert Trent Jones, Jr.

The civilian walking rate is $50; carts are $19/person. Advance booking is recommended for non-DoD civilians.
