Hyde Park Golf Club
6439 Hyde Grove Ave
Jacksonville, FL 32210-2835, United States

904 -786-5410
Hyde Park Golf Club is one of the oldest in Florida. The Jacksonville Open, which evolved into the PLAYERS Championship, began at Hyde Park. A regular stop on the mens and womens professional tours in the '40s and '50s, Hyde Park was the site of Mickey Wright's first official pro victory. Sam Snead, Byron Nelson, Babe Zaharias, Patty Berg and Louise Suggs all were tested at Hyde Park as well.

The gorgeous Southern pines and Spanish oaks that line the course are even more mature and majestic than they were 80 years ago that lend's a special aura to the playing experience. Since the layout has not changed, you can play the same course and face the same shot-making decisions as the legends of the game.

Ben Hogan made an 11 on No. 6 in 1947 in the Jacksonville Open. It is named "Hogan's alley".

Fantastic older Donald Ross design that is well maintained and plays well. Our round took 4 hours 10 minutes during peak time and the marshals made regular rounds. Clubhouse is older but well maintained and the only thing keeping from 5 star overall is a very limited snack bar.

This is my home course because it is 10 minutes from my house. It is also a great course to play.
