Date 19-09-2012. Greens cored and sanded 2 weeks ago. Still slow and a little uneven. If you play mid week 4.00 to 4.15 hrs to play. Will take 5 to 5.5 hrs on weekend with residents playing the course give no regard to visitors or Troon members unfortunately and not much the pro shop can do about it.

Packo2117 that is a load of rubbish. Yes the greens were cored but I have played the last two Saturdays and the rounds were less than 4 hrs 15 mins each. In each case I played with club members (ie Troon members) and not residents and everyone on the course were courteous and quick around the course. Try going up the road to Newcastle or go to Merewether or Belmont and you will learn what slow is. It is a wonderful course.
