Vicars Cross Golf Club is an 18-hole parkland course located in rural Cheshire on the A51, four miles east of Chester. The club's original manager and professional, Eric Parr, co-designed the course "on-the-fly" with Cyril Hughes, the professional at Royal Liverpool. Parr had to reconstruct the course following World War II, while lengthening of the course took place in the late 1980s and early 1990s.

Attended the seniors exchange day arranged with North Manchester GC. Course is looking good, sandy greens, decent fairways and good tee boxes. Weather (always a factor) was very good so a nice day out. The meal afterwards was excellent and all staff were great with us.

Visited just after the March snowfalls but course snow free but damp in a few spots but nothing serious. Greens had been hollotined recently so a few odd bumps. Members very friendly and welcoming and catering excellent.
