One of the host qualifying sites for the 2014 Open Championship, the Gailes Links course allows public pay during the summer at £75/round or £90/day on weekdays, then £80/round on weekends.

The course is one of two owned and operated by Glasgow Golf Club; their Killermont course is located 34.5 miles to the north in East Dunbartonshire.

Nice Course. Miss the fairway and you play from heather. Miss the heather and you play from gorse. Very tough but very fair. Greens a little slow for a links course.
