This club formed in 1892, although the legendary architect Alister Mackenzie did some design work here in the early 20th century.

Visitors are welcome; the standard visitor walking rates are £45/round or £50/day on weekdays, then £55/day on weekends. Junior, twilight, and guest-of-member rates are lower. Societies are also welcome with prior arrangement.
