Two courses are part of this hotel and resort, located in Derbyshire, in the East Midlands of England.
Architect Donald Steel designed the Moorland Course, which debuted in 1991 and features a heathland-style layout. The Priory Course is the more challenging layout, a David Cox design that dates to 1977 and plays through tight, tree-lined fairways and demands accuracy.

Had a lovely 18 holes on the Moorland course.
Being a 22 handicapper I lost a few balls when just off the fairways because of the very long rough. I though it as reasonably expensive in comparison to the Priory, but definitely worth while going round. Staff in Pro-shop were also very good ;-)

Fantastic course in great condition. 1st our so no slow play issues, but can see why a very hilly course.

First of all this is BREADSALL PRIORY not Breedon Priory which is a few miles away!
I like the priory course there are some tight holes and some where you can let rip. Course management is very important here especially on some of the sharper doglegs. There are holes where you will ony find side hill lies so if you can't play them stay away :-)

Great Course, let down heavily by extremely slow play and no marshalls out on course instructing slow groups to speed up, walk holes or let players through. I can only recommend this course for late in the day when it is quiet.
