Architect Simon Gidman designed this attractive and challenging parkland-style course, which usually ranks as one of the best in Northern Ireland. Galgorm Castle GC plays from 5,520 to 6,930 yards, with a significant amount of sand and water in play, including the River Maine in places. Overlooking the course is Galgorm Castle, which was built in 1618 by Sir Faithful Fortescue and remains one of the prime examples of Jacobean architecture in Ireland.

A flood-lit practice range, putting green, a short-game area with a practice bunker, and other teaching facilities are available. A bar, restaurant, full catering facilities, and attached lodging are also on the premises.

The standard green fees are £50 on weekdays and £60 on weekends, although GUI and ILGU members enjoy a 50% discount (carts/buggies are £25). Memberships are also offered.
