Cabot Highlands Golf Course
Balnaglack Farmhouse
Dalcross, V3 IV2 7JL, United Kingdom

+44.1463.796.111
This very picturesque (and genuine) seaside links course opened in July of 2009 with a co-design between American architect Gil Hanse and owner/developer Mark Parsinen. Cabot Highlands plays along Moray Firth and includes views of Chanonry Lighthouse. The site is also near Chanonry Point, which features an old lighthouse and is well-known as a prime viewing spot for bottlenose dolphins.

Cabot Highlands hosted the Scottish Open in 2011 (Luke Donald), 2012 (Jeev Milkha Singh), and 2013 (Phil Mickelson).

The peak-season (May-October) rate is £175, while various discounts are available for shoulder-season, day-ticket, BIGGA/PGA, SGU, and local resident play.

Must put this one on the bucket list

Make as long a day as possible out of this experience and don't forget the showers. This was the new benchmark for modern clubhouses and the golf course was brilliant. On any one hole you were pretty much unaware of the other 17.

Fantastic course, scenery spectacular and staff very friendy. This is one of Scotlands finest golf courses. Coffee from a flask was dreadful and not for the first time. sorry

Stunning course, nice and fast greens, well playable for high handicapper (22). Norman, the greeter, was great in getting us an earlier T time and very chatty. Steven, the starter was full of banter and we enjoyed the friendly advise to play of the green T's. A brilliant round of golf with stunning views (Ok, the weather was great too). A must to go back again.

First time here. What a splendid course which required quite a bit of course management from me. Some of the holes - phew. If you are in the area, its a MUST for any golfer.
