Aylesbury, B9 HP22 5NQ, United Kingdom

Chiltern Forest Golf Club is located on the edge of Wendover Woods and boasts of some picturesque views of the Buckinghamshire countryside. While golf may have been played here prior to the turn of the 20th century, a good deal of design credit goes to the famous professional Sir Henry Cotton, who added three holes to the six-hole course here during World War II. The club expanded to 18 holes during the 1980s.

Visitors are welcome, while societies are welcome on weekdays via prior arrangement. The standard visitor walking rates are £25/round or £40/day on Mondays through Thursdays, then £35/round on Fridays, weekends, and bank holidays. On Fridays, a day-ticket is available at £50. Twilight, junior, and four-ball rates are also offered, as are memberships.

A spectacular course with excellent greens and challenging holes, and is useful to have my Sky Caddie sx550 as you have to take in the elevation.
The new 8th hole is something special. So never underestimate the yardage.
Welcome by the staff with superb lunchtime snack.

Just joined this course as I needed more of a challenge. It is hilly particularly the 2nd, 8th and 16th which will make you puff a bit!
The views are stupendous and there is a wide range of wildlife to enjoy whilst getting your breath back. The short par 3 8th will test anyone as it is all uphill and whilst I have clubs that have the elevation and clubs that have the distance, I don't seem to have one that has both!
There is quite a lot of ongoing maintenance that will make the course even better, but doesn't get in the way of a thoroughly enjoyable round.
