Formerly known as Canoe Creek Golf Course, Shuswap National is picturesque, challenging and fun. The unique and eclectic 7100 yard design brings you a bit of the British Isles (open fields of long fescue and grass-faced pot bunkers), forested areas, rock outcrops, natural wetlands, and striking water features. Our spectacular and immaculate bentgrass greens are often fast, always roll true and are very receptive to approach shots. Subtle undulations add to the enjoyment and challenge.

Must play golf course. Real compliment to the town of Salmon Arm.

I don't play the course much any more. I have found that there is a number of blind holes and some of the gathering areas rools down toward the high timothy type grass. needs work, some holes should be redesigned ie. #2,8, 11, 18(a tweek)

I will say the par 3's are the best 4 you can find on one course but after that not a fan. A test yes if more than half the fairways you can't stay on as they are crowned (even my dad that drives 225 down the middle could not stay on it!). The 11th hole sucks as a par 5 and 13 you must hit a perfect shot off the tee to see the green as trees lay down the right side. Too many other courses worth playing in the area than Canoe Creek.
