This private club is located on the southeast edge of Sarasota, east of Interstate 75 and north of Clark Road. Well-known architect Joe Lee designed the course, which debuted in 1972 and plays through mature stands of oak, pine, and palm trees. Water is in-play on several holes in the middle of the course.
It is the only golf club in the Tampa metropolitan area that is men-only. However, one feature is that slow play is reportedly non-existent at the course. Membership is by referral only.
