This municipal course, a relatively flat and wide-open one, is located next to Birmingham International Airport. The greens are big and some span up to 20 yards, so a good approach shot is vital to leave a short putt. In the summer the greens are fast and slick to further challenge the golfer. The 16th is a difficult par four sometimes needing three good shots to reach the green as a strong wind always seems to blow directly into your face. A five is an acceptable score on this tough hole. From the tee you can either carry two fairway bunkers at about 220 yards or you can play left but close to the rough. The course offers a good practice area on natural grass.

Corporate groups and societies are also welcome with advance arrangement.

Great course for beginners, and those who are not at a high standard. Greens could be quicker, but most of all bunkers need to be looked after as very poor. other than that great little course to get back into the motion of playing.

Improved clubhouse after new build. Some greens are recovering from drainage work but overall they need a good watering. I've played on softer concrete! Do not go into a bunker. Many lack in sand band those that have sand you'll find lots of stones ready to spoil your shot and ruin your wedge!

greens are really poor condition,no sand in bunkers, and the service in cafe is slow, for food that is horrible

reasonable course but the pro shop assistant was very rude and impolite spoiling an otherwise good day out
