Went as part of a society. Course was in great condition as was the greens. Some very tricky pin placements though. Fairways narrow in places so a good tee shot is paramount. Didn't help being a bit windy. The scenery is excellent too. Hospitality at the hotel was first class, food was really good too. Definitely worth a visit

Went for a Sunday / Monday overnight break, at Easter, what terrific value, the food was fantastic and the course was in great condition. Must mention the starter who was very helpful, in fact all the staff were a credit. This course should be on everyone's list to play.

not the first time I have played here, but this was a boys weekend deal and was good value for money. course in great condition, rooms were good also.
as usual beer etc overpriced, and the breakfast in the bar was not good considering the price although next morning in the restaurant was a whole lot better, playing of the yellow pegs was not so demanding but still a great weekend, and would go again,

Played in Super Seniors Open Competition in July. Hot and humid and fairly windy at times. Course in excellent condition, very challenging - only been playing six years - but enjoyable.

Played just before Christmas. Given the amount of rain we'd had, the course was in remarkable condition. Have played the course many times and was expecting a quagmire! Millionaires golf - very few people out!

Wow. Millionaires golf without exception when you are first off for the day. Great course and took advantage of the May offer to play for less than most private courses that dont hold a candle to this one. Probably one of my favourite courses of all time, but had the wind been blowing or raining, reckon I might think very differently as no shelter. A must play.

Really nice layout, would have been nice to play of the white or back tees though, much more of a challenge

Great course but spent two days battling wind and rain. It is very open and has some great holes. Well worth a visit. Thought food in the spike bar was a bit pricey.

Challenging open course, almost links like but with some very nice curving holes hugging the contours of a big lake which reminded me very much of some Myrtle beach courses, without the aligators. Very well maintained throughout, the greens were true and firm but not overly quick. Had a free voucher to play, not sure I would have been happy paying the £100 greenfee advertised, but very enjoyable round of golf.
