Cardiff Golf Club, founded in 1922, is a 6,000-yard parkland course with a variety of mature trees, which requires accurate tee shots. Small-to-medium-sized greens are generally well-bunkered, while a small stream meanders around the course. The clubhouse opened in 1998 and includes bars, a restaurant, a lounge, and a golf shop.

Visitors are welcome; the standard walking rate is £40, but a variety of specials and guest-of-member rates are offered. Tee-times are not required, but the schedule of member events is such that advance booking is advisable. Societies and groups are also welcome with prior arrangement.
