An awkward course to review! It is a bit quirky on the front 9 starting with 3 short par 3 holes. Don't equate short to easy though as the greens slope and are very fast.
The drinks are reasonably priced, the bacon butties very good, but not impressed by the soup and sarnies.
Overall the course is very short and just about anyone should be able to play it. But you have to think as you can't just take a driver and bomb it. Some tricky short oglegs mean you need to think about and position your tee shot very carefully.
My day was a little ruined by a load of "yobs" from somewhere who thought it fun to shout at the golfers, jump into the bunkers and play footie on the 4th green. They were chased off hopefully never to return.
A number of bunkers hadn't been raked properly (by golfers) and I found a few footprints when I strayed off the straight and narrow.
A good "fun" course to play one in a while. The low SSS of 65 shows that scores can be made there.
