Now owned and operated by Nene Park Golf of Peterborough, Orton Meadows Golf Course opened with 12 holes in May of 1982; the final six holes debuted in April 1987. The course was designed by Dennis and Roger Fitton, the golf professionals at the time of Orton Meadows and Thorpe Wood Golf Courses. A separate 12-hole pitch-and-putt course is also available.
The standard green fees are £16 on weekdays, £22 on weekends and bank holidays.

Two big complaints: 1. Many rabbit holes on fairways still. 2. Followed a ladies medal where one group was at least four holes behind the earlier tee off's; not only that but they would not allow the following two ball medal pairing to play through, and of course my three ball trailed behind - both of my partners bailed out after nine holes!! Greens were fantastic.
