CdG Meadowbrook began life as part of the Canadian Pacific Recreation Club of Montreal. Construction began after the end of the second World War in 1945, when it was known as Wentworth Golf Course; all 18 holes were completed by 1949. The current ownership took over in 1970, renaming it at that time.

The standard visitor walking rates are C$32 on weekdays, C$35 on weekends and legal holidays (carts are C$28). Sliding twilight rates are available, as are memberships. Reserved tee-times are available only on weekend mornings.
