Played in mid August. Very hot and we had an afternoon tee time. We thought the course was in pretty good shape. The greens and the fairways were in good shape. The course was quiet and we did not have anyone in proximity until about the 14th hole so pace of play was good. There are two course on the island here and The Dunes. The Dunes is the nicer of the two but Beachview can be a nice golfing day out.

I played the course on a Friday morning at a time when it's considered the offseason in southwest fla. The putting green looked like it hadn't been mowed in 4-5 days and was in bad shape. The rest of the course was also in fair shape at best. The greens were all the same as the putting green. Grass was very shaggy on each green and the slowest I've played in years. I found out later from a few locals that I spoke with that it's usually in that type of condition. If I'm in that area again, this course will not be on my play list. The reason I gave it 4-stars on pace of play is that I played by myself and no one was in front of me. The rest of my experience was very disappointing.
