As the name implies, this 27-hole facility is located on 225 acres of an old deer park, with the River Avon serving as a water hazard on some holes. The Tantara course is a par-71 layout covered by many oak and sweet chestnut trees, some of which, the club says, are more than 300 years old. The par-3 Avon course plays to 1,251 yards and is especially suited for iron practice and for beginning players.
