East Devon Golf Club
Links Rd
Budleigh Salterton, D4 EX9 6DG, United Kingdom

01395 445195
Situated on the cliff top above Budleigh Salterton, at the western end of the World Heritage Jurassic Coast, the Club commands magnificent views along the coast. On a clear day, Berry Head is visible to the south west and to the east, the high point of distant Portland Bill in Dorset can be seen, over 35 miles away.

East Devon Golf Club is regarded by many as one of the finest courses in the South West and is well reviewed in the Top 100 Golf Courses of the British Isles. At 6231 yards, it is not a long course but offers a fair and interesting test of golf that requires accurate shot-making in order to score well. The fairways have been cut through a profusion of heather and gorse and, according to Peter Alliss, the 16th tee provides ‘the best view in golf’.

Lovely old course. Beautiful views across the Devon coast.

Fantastic course in great condition even though it has rained for about 2 weeks beforehand. We chose the 1st dry day for ages. Brilliant scenery with many views of the coast. Very welcoming in the pro shop.
