Foxhills offers two 18-hole courses that blend heathland and parkland styles. One of the two courses is available each day for public play all day on weekdays, and then after noon on weekends. The summer visitor rates are £90 Mondays through Thursdays, and £110 Fridays and weekends.
__________
LONGCROSS: This parkland-style course features many beech, silver birch, and pine trees; the resort advertises it as "very reminiscent of Sunningdale's Old Course in places." The first, ninth, and fourteenth holes are known for their difficulty, while the 14th is very popular.
BERNARD HUNT: This course is named after Bernard Hunt MBE, former head professional here during the 1980s and 90s. Hunt won 30 events on the European Tour, played in ten Ryder Cup Matches (twice as captain), and won the Order of Merit in 1961 and 1963. Holes 10 is especially challenging - a down-and-uphill hole with a green protected in front by two bunkers. Likewise, the 18th is known by locals as "Cardiac Hill" and requires a tee-shot with a 200-yard carry toward a partially-blind approach shot.
Foxhills has hosted the European Tour's Tournament Players Championship and the Tour's Qualifying School. Golfers Paul Casey and Anthony Wall grew up playing in the junior program here.
Both Championship courses are open to the public; memberships are also offered.

Visited twice I three weeks. First time played the Bernard Hunt. Well kept, lined with mature broad leaf trees and just enough water to keep one honest!! Second time played the Longcross - oh what a joy. Lined with pine trees, great fairways, true greens, each hole a good test - not a course for a "boom and putt" player - most holes require a decision about where to try and put your drive. Pro shop and bar staff really friendly and helpful.

Good course, some difficult but true greens, we were a 4 ball and had to let around 4, 2 balls through which slowed the pace.
