Purley Downs is a 6308-yard, par-70 downland course designed by J.H. Taylor in 1904. Its location in Surrey provides views over much of London, including Wembley Arch, Canary Wharf, Hampstead Heath, and City of London landmarks. In March of 2009, GolfWorld magazine described the first hole here as "perhaps the best opening par-3 in golf."

Weekday visitor fees are £40 per round, £50 all day. Visitors wishing to play on the weekend should check with the course in advance.
