Sandiway is a blend of heathland and parkland-style golf established in 1922 with a design by Ted Ray. In 1925. the legendary Harry S. Colt oversaw some improvements, while Frederick W. Hawtree designed new 2nd, 3rd, and 4th holes in 1955 when the A556 highway was modified.

Visitors are welcome at £50/round or £60/day on weekdays, then £65/round on weekends and bank holidays. Junior, winter, Cheshire Union card-holder, and guest-of-member rates are also offered, as are memberships. Societies also are welcome with prior arrangement.
