This very attractive course dates to about 1909 and a design by the legendary architect Dr. Alister MacKenzie. Moortown is set in 125 acres of contrasting terrain, mainly level woodland and moorland.

The peak-season (May-September) walking rate is £85. Junior, twilight, shoulder-season, and group rates are available, as are memberships.

beautiful championship course in superb condition.

Played Moortown GC in an open day last month, the course played long on a windy and wet day, however Moortown was in great condition, looked good and the greens were in a fabulous condition. You would expect nothing less for one of the best courses in the north.
