This 9-hole, double-tee course dates to 1900 with a design by five-time Open champion and prolific architect J.H. Taylor. Strawberry Hill is located about two miles south of Twickenham Stadium, just east of Hampton Road. The course features three 200 yards-plus par-3s in succession, so both accuracy and distance are demanded.
The club is known to be particularly women- and junior-friendly, with a variety of classes and programs for new golfers.
Visitors are welcome; the walking rates are £17/nine holes, £28/18 holes, or £38.50/day on weekdays, then £20/nine or £32/18 on weekends and bank holidays. Junior and guest-of-member rates are available, as are memberships. Societies and corporate groups are also welcome with prior arrangement.

This is a very delightful, friendly, relaxed and welcoming golf club. The course is well maintained and the greens are usually excellent. It is a 9 hole course, tight and with water hazards on all holes except one. Every hole is interesting and golfers at all levels will find it challenging.

A great little 9hole course, especially if you're on your way home from London. On warm evenings its usually quiet and you can easily make your way round in less than 1.5hours. The course is tight with some very long par3, 3 in excess of 220yds, the course is kept in great condition and the club welcomes visitors all day and year round (just check with the pro about competitions that might be on). A good test of golf if you're playing well and wonderful walk in a true oasis in the city if you're not. Pace of play marked down, at times in the after noon it can get a little slow but that's the only negative.
