Hilly and slopey, but only challengingly so rather than impossibly so. Although both times we've played it we used a buggy so perhaps my opinion would be different if we walked it. Still, it's lovely, and interesting with contoured greens.

Wet day; bunkers very wet and mainly water filled. Very slow behind Seniors match!

The Surrey National is part of the group I am a member of an therefore I've played there several times.
The course is excellent value and offers of huge variety of holes. Many holes are very tricky and the course is quite long. Water and gradients come into play on several holes.
Definitely recommended.
