I've been playing golf in the Portland area for years now, and always come back to this course. This summer has been rough on some spots, and they lost the fairways a bit, but they have maintained great conditions on the green.
Overall, the layout is a very good test of your game. The front 9, although short, can eat up your tee shots, with woods and OB wreaking havoc (3, 5, and 6 especially) You'll find a couple more holes on the back 9, 16 in particular, where you can let loose.

A nice course with a lot of elevation changes giving you challenging shots. The 3-hour back nine was horrific. Two groups stacked at nearly every tee box. It was a long, slow grind home today unfortunately. Otherwise, I think I would have enjoyed it quite a bit.

Course was in good shape. Even after a couple days of rain, the course had drained well & had no issues related to water on the course.
Lot of Blind Shots and Uneven lies due to the hills on the course.
