When Baron Bich and Mr. Sakuraï inaugurated the Bordes Golf International which is today one of the most beautiful courses in Europe, they decided to create a golf course open to enthusiast golfers searching for both sport events and recreational golf.
To do this, they chose the site of the Priory of Ganay dating from the 12th and 13th century and entrusted the construction to Jim Shirley with the express directive to preserve this magnificent natural setting so typical of the Sologne.
The first 9 holes were opened on 27 June 1993.
The course evolves between the Sologne forest, ponds and the plain. You will appreciate the tranquility and beauty of the landscape.
