We played this course as a two-ball on a Saturday where the forecast was Snow(it didn't).We were pretty much the only players going out at 11.00AM, which I dare say is a rarity for the course. We went out on the winter offer which was a £15 green fee with a mug of coffee and a bacon sandwich thrown in. It was hellishly muddy out on the course but whilst the greens were wet they still rolled true. It is a charming little track over the common and there were still plenty of dog walkers and the like out and about(which does not say much for the hardiness of the golfing community). In more clement conditions I dare say it is a busy place but having played the course in wet but otherwise millionaire conditions I will remember it fondly. Short but not overly hard to plot your way around, I give it a big thumbs up!.
