This course opened in 1922 as the private Hubbard Heights Golf Club. Public golfers were finally welcome in 1949, then the course was renamed in 1978. Even though it has been known as "E. Gaynor Brennan" for well over a quarter-century, some locals still call it "The Heights."

The non-resident walking rates are $42 on weekdays, then $48 on weekends and holidays (carts are $15). Resident, senior, junior, 9-hole, and sliding twilight rates are also offered, as are season passes.
