Played here a couple weeks back with a work colleague. Lovely setting, good facilites, lovely mens locker room, sofa, TV, steam room, individual power showers, nice bar with good range of hot/cold food and drinks. My only gripe and excusable was the greens had been hollow tined so were not playing their best, but the greens should be in lovely condition when the season starts properly in April. The course had drained well, we played the Cheshire - the Nicklaus was closed over winter, which offered a combination on length and subtle drops and rises in gradient as well as natural contours with mature plants from 20 yrs of growth. I would recommend for any society or serious golfer.

Much improved in recent years and greens at best August-end October Can be slow going if a big society are playing choose the tees that suit you handicap. Gets wet in winter and Nicklaus course often closed. Back 9 on the Cheshire best holes in the area

The course was in much better condition than when I played in February. The fairways were defined and well manicured and the greens have improved 100%, back the sort of condition you would expect from this standard of course. Tip, the black tees are definitely not for mere mortals!!

Well worth a visit. Scenic with some challenging holes. The Cheshire course greens were in excellent shape.

Have played both the Carden Park courses some time ago I regret that upon returning I was very disappointed in the general condition of the Nicklaus. OK it was end of March but the general state of the greens was way below what you expec from this standard of course.
