This is more than just some famous golfer going into course design. Davis Love III was once quoted as saying that he enjoys designing courses that his mother, Penta, could play, while still maintaining a "classical course design" feel. The end results are meant to be courses that beginners and families can play together.

He has done it again, this time near Panama City Beach. Origins is a six-hole regulation course that alternately plays as a 9-hole executive layout, or as a ten-hole par-3 track using different tee boxes and auxiliary greens. The overall length here is only about 1,800 yards.
