This course is located in a residential area of Riffa, near villas, townhouses, schools, mosques, a shopping mall, etc. Among the features here are the 5th, which features alternative fairways and is bisected by a "wadi" (dry river bed). The course was built over the site of the former Riffa Golf Club which opened in 1999 and was Bahrain's first grass golf course.
