Shining Mountain Golf Club
100 Shining Mountain Ln
Woodland Park, CO 80863, United States

719.687.7587
Pikes Peak, one of Colorado's "Fourteeners," was originally named "Shining Mountain" by the Ute Indians because of how brightly the sun reflected off of the snow. It is that moniker that gives this course its name. Located in the Pike National Forest, it receives over 300 days of sunshine and lies at almost 8,500 ft above sea level.

The standard walking rates are $20 on Mondays through Thursdays, then $30 on Fridays, weekends, and holidays (carts are $10). Twilight and 9-hole rates are available, as are memberships.

Fun course with narrow fairways.
  Got Tom'd - 7/30/11
The course is mountainous with varying elevations surrounded by trees and links style vegetation. Beautiful views, tough and narrow but extremely fun. Not usually crowded. Greens are improving. A shotmakers course. Winds through a mountain valley with wonderful views of Pikes Peak.

Overall a fun course to play. Greens are very rough and bumpy but once you figure them out they are puttable
