Chestfield Golf Club
103 Chestfield Rd
Chestfield, G5 CT5 3LU, United Kingdom

+44 01622.844382
This tree-lined, parkland-style course is located in the Canterbury district of Kent. Some of the most challenging parts of the course run over Shrub Hill, where picturesque views of the season may distract golfers, particularly on the 553-yard second hole. The course was designed by two notable golfers: Five-time Open champion James Braid and Abe Mitchell, whose likeness graces the top of the Ryder Cup.

Visitors and societies are welcome with advance arrangements; the visitor walking rates on weekdays are £34/round or £44/day, and then £36/round on weekends.

This course has updated information like phone, address, description or scorecard and is pending approval. These changes must be approved before they will be available on a SkyCaddie.

A great course despite it being rather windy during our visit. The course was in very good condition with pacey undulating small greens that I found hard to hold when playing my approach shots.

The bunkers were maintained well and the run off areas off the fairway were sufficient to punish without time delayed searching for balls.

A club I would definately return to - preferably a calm wind day.

sort but very small greens

The whole experience was yet again ruined by the fact that the greens were hollow tined and absolutely smothered with sand..We received no warning of this and this is the 4th time this has happened and although the course is lovely it will be the last time we visit
