The land on which this course was built used to be owned by Charles Schulz, the cartoonist who drew the famous "Peanuts" comic strip. When he sold the land, he had a privision written into the sale that he would be the first member of the club when the course opened. Unfortunately, Mr. Schulz died before that could happen.
This 6,761-yard Jack Nicklaus-designed course is located in a very private residential community. Among the club events are inter-club challenges against clubs like GlenArbor in New York and the Eden Club at Saint Andrews.

Absolutely stunning! Almost every hole stands on it's own and carves it's way around the Santa Rosa hills. A beautifully balanced modern design. The course is moderately tight with penalties on every hole. A great test of golf where you need every aspect of your game to shoot a good round. Walking only. 5 stars all around!
