Jagare Ridge Golf Club

Edmonton, AB T6W 1A4, Canada

Jägare Ridge Golf Club opened in 2002 along Whitemud Creek, not terribly far from downtown Edmonton. Nevertheless, elevation changes of up to 80 feet are present, along with many mature spruce and cottonwood trees. In addition to 87 bunkers, water is prevalent throughout the course, including around the island green at 15.

The standard rate (with cart) is C$90. Senior, junior, 9-hole, and twilight discounts are available, as are memberships.

Incidentially, the name Jägare is Norse for the words "the hunter."

amazing challenging course with massive Elevation changes. not for the new Golfer.
  mlakusta - 7/24/16
Very gimmicky course. Too many lay up tee shots. Very slow pace of play. Overpriced.
  Scottyfly - 7/18/14
Lots of irons off the tees and you can't drive the carts on many of the fairways so you have to do lots of walking from cart path to your ball. No GSP on carts so bring a sky caddie with you.
  Buckawheat - 4/3/13
It is a great course, but not for guys who like to pull out driver every hole. Forces you to use most of your clubs through the round.
  rontagg - 1/8/13
Vastly overrated. Save your money. This course need a lot of work especially cleaning up the bushes around the edges.

Amazing golf course, mint condition with tour greens. Probably the best non private course in Edmonton.
