Prestonfield Golf Club
6 Priestfield Rd N
Edinburgh, U8 EH16 5HS, United Kingdom

+44 1316.679.665
Prestonfield Golf Club dates to 1920, when this James Braid-designed, parkland-style course opened about 1.5 miles from Princes Street, adjacent to Arthur's Seat. This classical out-and-back layout plays to 6,207 yards (par 70), with two very long par-5s and some par-3s that are quite short by today's standards. The character lies in the amount of long testing par-4s that can vary greatly depending on wind direction and strength.

Visitors, societies, and corporate groups are always welcome with prior arrangement.

Oar 3's are well protected and the course challenges you to play tightly and accurately. Magnificent setting beside Arthur's Seat and amazing to be so close to the City Centre

Pretty disappointing course which in honesty I found very boring after 11 holes or so. The course was in pretty poor condition when I played it as we had had lots of heavy rain the week leading upto my round.

So perhaps the weather doesn't do my review justice but I will quickly forget my round here and I won't be going back in a hurry!

Course was very wet and was playing very short, by I enjoyed the game.
