Two courses are at this location, both owned and operated by the City of Hamilton. Built in 1896, the Martin course was the original home of the Hamilton Golf & Country Club. The longer and higher-profile Beddoe course debuted in 1942 with nine holes designed by Stanley Thompson; the full 18 was open by 1951, although construction of the 403 freeway necessitated a partial re-routing of holes during the 1960s.
The green fees on the Beddoe course are C$50 Mondays through Thursdays, then C$55 on Fridays, weekends and, holidays (carts are C$34). Rates for the Martin course are roughly C$15 lower.

I like the layout. Some small carries that are nothing unless you come off the tee bad. The layups are placed right imo. Some holes are narrower but many are pretty wide. I would think a muni would have a bit more water that it could use but what do I know. Course isn't usually busy when I go which is nice. The rack rates are rather high in my opinion but I have always got on at a deal.

Bedoe course layout is very good. Greens in good shape. Mon.thru Thurs. round is about 3.5 hours. Various improvements have been made to the course.
