Eagle Vail Golf club is full of elevation changes -- and at 7,400 feet above sea-level, beginners and higher-handicap players should not be intimidated by the length at this 6,800-yard course. The first nine meanders through the valley floor and crosses the Eagle River several times. The second nine winds through mountain-side stands of aspens, firs, and lodge-pole pines.

The club also has an accessible, beginner-friendly par-3 course, Willow Creek, is located a short distance away, near Battle Mountain High School. This record includes the scorecard for that course.
