10/10/09: Have only played this course a few times, but am impressed. It's tougher than it looks. Well maintained. Pretty fast greens. Lots of undulation. Tightly mowed fairways. 5 sets of tees. No side by side fairways. Rated one of the best in CT. Hope to play it much more next year. Guaranteed to challenge you, which should improve your game in the long run.
UPDATE: Got a membership here in 2010. Have really gotten to know the course well. Do not miss this track. Challenging, extremely well-maintained, beautiful, friendly rangers, top-shelf course. Better than most private clubs around.

I thought this course was in very good shape. There were a couple burnout spots from last summer, but overall, in great condition. They had just aerated a few weeks prior, but the greens had already come back and were rolling great. I think the biggest positive is the layout. It's cut out of the woods and there are adjacent fairways. It was peaceful out there.

I Play here at least twice to three times a week I love the course its very challenging. Hole 3 is a beast {the scoundral }We try to get the first tee time on weekends or you might as well bring a book to read. Lately the pace of play has been brutly. They havent had a ranger out there which makes for long days. The greens are fast with very subtle breaks. Its a tuff course the first time you play until you learn were to leave your shots. All and all its a great place to play so bring your A game!!!!
