The Woodlands was the first of the two courses built here and dates to 1995. As the name indicates, the course was built through dense forest and includes water on several holes, playing from 5,600 to 7,100 yards.

The Links plays through more open terrain and was designed by Peter L.H. Thompson to have sculpted mounding, bunkering and greens, imitating many Scottish-style courses. Unless links territory, however, this region features picturesque views of Mount Rainier.
