This course has a lot of potential, but the maintenance and construction work being done on the course takes a lot away from the enjoyment of playing the golf course. There was probably a mower on every single hole we played except maybe the last couple holes.

The construction being done on the back nine with a new lake is a huge distraction. We had heavy lifting equipment waiting for us to tee of on number 17. This caused the pace of play to be exceptionally slow.

Also complicating the round is the fact that Cheyenne Shadows does not do tee times during the week...you wait in line to take your turn. In my opinion, this is just poor and lazy golf course management.

For $44 per round I will be taking my business somewhere else to play a more peaceful and enjoyable round of golf.

Maintenance of the fairways and rough needs to improve. With some extra effort this could be a special course. Nice course layout.

Interesting layouts, good mix of challanging/easy holes. Well maintained this year. Average driving range. But a good value for your golfing dollar.
