Black Bear Golf Club
11400 Canterberry Pkwy
Parker, CO, United States

303.840.3100
Formerly known as Canterberry GC, this Jeffrey Brauer design is carved through ravines and arroyos, which results in 200+ feet of elevation changes. The views from here are expansive, from Longs Peak south to Pikes Peak more than an hour away.

The 7,178-yard links course features a driving range, practice putting green and practice chipping green with unique elevations and a bunker. In 1997, Golf Digest listed this course in their "Top 10 Best New Affordable Public Courses."

great course. The pace of play can slow down on the weekends around mid-day, but overall it is always in fantastic shape, fun to play and challenging enough to make you think.

The course is in unbelievable condition. I have not played a course in this good of shape in years! the fairways and greens were excellent. it is a tough course but is manageable.

I love Black Bear. I'm a bit biased because it's my home club and I live 2 minutes away, but it truly is a nice course that is challenging for player of all skill levels. You'll find some bad reviews online claiming that they need better maintenance, but since it was purchased by Canongate in late 2009, the course is in impeccable shape. They have redone all bunkers, greens and are doing an amazing job with the fairways. If you haven't been back since 2009, you need to play it again to see the improvements. My only real complaint is the driving range: you're hitting uphill to the South, which is usually into the wind. Highly recommend Black Bear.
