As with Walking Stick in Pueblo, Sumo could be classified as "desert links" golf iasmuch as it lies in rugged country in the Cañon City / Florence cluster, with impressive views of the south face of Pikes Peak. Gary Player and his architecture firm designed the course.
The summer walking rates with half-cart are $38 on weekdays, $44 on weekends and holidays. Memberships are also offered.
