Love the course. Tough when it's cart path only.

Great GPS on the carts. Also, you are able to order lunch via touch screen, which was awesome/convenient. Driving range is offsite- the only negative.

Where do I begin? - Would you like to warm up before your round? The driving range is 1/4 mile away by car! (after you all ready took out your clubs, locked up the car, and brought your clubs to the pro shop) Who designed this?
Ok so no warm up. I want to get changed into different cloths - I just drove over an hour from the office mainly because I heard this course was rated #2 in the great state of CT - where is the locker room? Well, we have a bathroom second door on the left. Nice.
The restaurant has no views of the course - its dark and in doors - who designed this?
You have to drive through the parking lot to reach the 1st and 10th tees - who designed this?
The course is in great condition!
The greens roll at a nice pace. Fairways are perfect.
The course is boring - wide open - not challenging off the tee - hit driver on every long hole.
the front nine and the back nine are mirror images of each other for the first four holes on both sides - ugh
#2 in the state? Golfweek threw you a bone. I can think of 10 better courses
1. Fox Hopyard
2. The new one at the casinos
3. River Highlands
4. Great River
5. Richter Park
6. Sterling Farms
7. Smith Richardson
8. The Wheel has a better layout - conditions don't compare - but more challenging
9. ok I ran out at 9
Basically I think this course is great for the higher handicapper - its very forgiving - not much trouble out there.
Its in great condition and the staff is friendly except for one of the rangers who has a wry sense of humor - and he is not as funny as he may think.
Pete Dye? No way! He never stepped foot on this land and if he did, shame on him.
There is a 500 acres of evidence that no one put any thought into practice facilities, Clubhouse, or course layout.
You stand on every tee and wonder why they did this. what a waste of space.
